Just as Greenbar Distillery brought back the first distillery to Los Angeles since the end of prohibition, so did they bring back the 1920/30s during their 15-Year Anniversary party held Sunday, December 15th.
GreenBar’s 15th Anniversary celebrated with 1920s/30s cocktails, big band jazz music, and the finest flapper/bootlegger outfits we’ve seen to date.
And they didn’t forget the shhhhh…VIP Guests didn’t need a ticket, but they did need a secret password to enter parts of the private celebration.
Greenbar offered Caribbean style catering and an open bar filled with several varieties of gin, rum, vodka, tequila, and whiskey that they distill on the premises.
Greenbar also produces spritzes, butters, and fine liqueurs.
Greenbar’s Downtown variety of spirits set themselves apart; each having their own particular flavors, accented with the thrill of herbs and spices that make each pour perfect for mixing or just sipping outright.
The multilevel facility is just large enough to produce each batch and tours allow you to get up close and personal with their beautiful copper stills, pose with giant age-oak whiskey barrels and learn why taste is their highest priority.
