Chefs and paella teams could compete in one or the 2 different modalities: PAELLA LIBRE y LA PAELLA VALENCIANA.
Judging the paella contest are 4 prestigious chefs from California. The winners will be competing in Spain, representing the US Team for the title of “Best Paella in the World” and will be announced and awarded during the event.
Long Live the Gypsy Kings
In addition to the Paella contest, the Paella Wine & Beer Festival is pleased to announce Latin music titans Gipsy Kings, who’ll bring their flamenco, salsa, rumba and pop. Their Grammy-winning sound will make the perfect backdrop for the L.A. Paella Wine & Beer Festival. Spanish & Mexican music and dance performers will also create a one-of-a-kind festive atmosphere.
