The Gentlemen’s Social Club of Los Angeles’s Brings 4th Annual Beard Battle

The 4th annual beard and mustache competition will benefit the LA FOOD BANK and will take place at Resident LA in the Historic Arts District of Los Angeles…

Every year the event presents a different theme for our competition. In past years, they brought us Mad Maxx, All Out 80s and a Freakshow theme. This year the theme is “90’s”, which is well suited for a beard and mustache competition, and promises to inspire some amazing and awesome facial hair to come to the show.

The competition will be open to any entrant and is expected to draw 100 competitors, and an audience of 400 people.

For the past couple of years, the event has sold out with a line out front of people hoping to get in. Turning away about 150 people every year simply because the venue cannot hold the extra bodies, this year the Resident in the Arts District takes on the task to accommodate.

10 main categories will be featured at the event, including Natural Mustache, Styled Mustache, Partial Beard, Partial Beard Freestyle, Full Beard Styled Stache, Business Beard 4” & under, Full Beard 8” & under, Full Beard 8” & over, Full Beard Freestyle, and a Whiskerina Category for the ladies.

The Whiskerina category is an arts & crafts category where the women get to create their own facial hair out of anything their minds can dream up!

Check out the video from Beard Battle:LA in 2017! It was a “Totally Awesome 80’s” theme…
