This Is A Man’s World: But It Wouldn’t Be Nothin’ Without the Latino Theater Company’s Touch

Latino Theater Company has been digging through their archives of video taped performances and Downtown unequivocally loves them for it.

Coming this Week: Sal Lopez

For the next two weeks an archival video presentation of a solo, semi-autobiographical coming of age story written and performed by Latino Theater Company founding member Sal Lopez.

As an American actor, Lopez’ film credits include American Me, CSI Miami and many others and he has become a familiar face in our homes with another 135 television and producer credits since 1975.

In this candid and intimate performance, music and memory swirl as Lopez relives the lessons that shaped his life, from the scent of a piroul tree in Mexico to the thrill of young love to the effects of the Watts Riots and the birth of his son.
