A&C History Quickie
Artist & Craftsman Supply had its start during the time DTLA was brewing with music, poets, and artists in the early 1980s. A&C began as a wholesaler for house paints, imports, boutique European oil paint distribution, and light manufacturing. Eventually they gave their business a makeover and focused more on retail. A&C has opened more locations that include children’s art and school supplies in their inventory. Currently, there are over 34 A&C stores in the Northwest, Mid-East, Northeast, and Southeast of the US.
