The Zinc-topped bars of Zinqué on 9th and Broadway, inspired by those found in France, sidewalk patio dining, fresh French cuisine and a full liquor menu are just a few of the nuisances that have Downtown food enthusiasts quickly welcoming Zinque as one of our favorites.
Just like the others… but better!
The aesthetically designed Downtown space maintains the same style as the other Zinqué locations (Venice, West Hollywood, and Newport Beach) with wooden tables, a beautiful bar and navy blue accent pieces but nothing adds a magic touch like being on the border of tourism and style as such is the new destination.
The cozy bar provides an oasis in bustling DTLA, inviting visitors to sit and linger as they enjoy coffee or a cocktail, relaxed conversation, wifi and complimentary newspapers.
“We’re excited to join the Downtown LA community and be part of the Bring Back Broadway Initiative.” owner Emmanuel Dossetti says. “Zinque is a place that is personal, where you know the staff, and where you can go at all times of the day: on your way to work, for lunch, on your way home from work, for a drink before a show, or late at night; a place where it’s easy to meet people while enjoying simple, delicious food and drinks.”
In the evening, Zinqué will host live music performances and special events.
From Brunch to Lunch
Zinqué habitués will be able to indulge in the famously addictive breakfast sandwich (egg, tomato, basil, aged Gruyère) or tuna tartare tartine on toasted Poilâne bread from Paris.
Dinner at Zinque: Highly Recommended
For lunch and dinner, gourmet sandwiches, salads, and the famous “Le Bowl” along with larger plates such as the grilled branzino and steak-frites.
The full menu will be available until 11PM, and flatbreads, quiches, and other bites will be served until close at midnight/weekdays or 2AM/weekends.
Focused on Fresh
As at all Zinqué locations, bread is imported from the famous Poilâne Bakery in Paris, and coffee is from La Colombe, the world-renowned coffee roasters. Zinqué serves cheeses that are not on a typical “cheese plate,” such as the amazing Epoisses from Burgundy (known as the “king of cheeses”).
The same attention is given to charcuterie items and oysters. With an emphasis on organic and sustainable wines, the extensive wine list is carefully selected and focuses on small and unique producers from around the world. Zinque DTLA will also be the first to offer a full craft cocktail menu with a focus on European liquors.
Zinque DTLA is located at 939 S Broadway St, Los Angeles CA 90015. For more information visit: lezinque.com |
