Netflix and Chills: The Tiger King Scarier Than the Flu

You think Coronavirus is scary?

What about the murders, madness and mayhem of Netflix’ series The Tiger King?

Directors Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin have done a great job with this TV project having created a real true crime-drama slash documentary that has the whole country guessing all while searching for the truth behind the dark scenarios that occur at wildlife adventure parks full of wild cats, Lyons and other exotic animal species.

The documentary centers around the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park a wild animal park created by Joseph Allen Schreibvogel, a.k.a Joe Exotic, a magnetic, over the top type character with a deep love for big, wild cats, young boys and crystal meth who has somehow ended up serving a 22-year prison sentence in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Tiger King has been considered recently as the biggest Netflix series of 2020 and rightfully so, as it takes us on a wild park adventure ride through the jungles of all of Joe Exotic’s past lovers, music videos, employee woes, and most interesting bouts with his former competitors.

One of which is a lady by the name of Carol Baskin, Joes main competitor and former nemesis, and the feline who not only took Joe for everything he was worth but had him convicted for crime for hire and animal cruelty.

Yet, the plot thickens – Seems in 1997, unsuspecting, accused womanizing husband of Carol Baskin,  “Don” Lewis, disappeared leaving her in charge of her late husbands BIG CAT rescue wild life farm and 10 Million dollar fortune. Sometime between then and now Baskin and Exotic sparked a professional rivalry that turned personal which ultimately leads to the season finally and Joes undoing. But what happens to the cats?

Have you got any reason to wonder why this series has become an entertainment star lately? Maybe because it temporally has been distracting a world stressed out by dealing with the coronavirus and most likely because its a hair splitting, heart racing, over the top shit show, shot gun blast into the mind of a master narcissist and a valuable lesson for all who are anxious to know just what happens when you play with fire.

The Tiger King is streaming now within the jungles of Netflix.
