Is bringing the smooth r&b, soul, and hiphop grooves to Downtown LA every Monday night at La Cita Bar. Each week he spins an electronic symphony of insatiable rhythms and get to know you better dance music by Old School Legends. Grand Opening of Taste of Universal
DTLA’s favorite barber the Unfadeable Khalil, has opened his first eatery directly across the street from his barber space at Salon on 6th which will give him the perfect vantage point as co-owner Fashion Williams and crew serve up delicious mini sandwiches and an assorted mix of natural icy fruit concoctions. Horror in the Hall @Walt Disney Concert Hall
CLARK WILSONÂ is one of the most prominent and recognized scorers of silent photo-plays in America today. He works exclusively with the Organ in developing accurate and historic musical accompaniments as they were performed in major picture palaces during the heyday of the silent film. For Halloween Night, Wilson will improvise an appropriately atmospheric sound track on Walt Disney Concert Hallâs magnificent pipe organ for this groundbreaking 1920 silent film, one of the earliest, most influential and artistically acclaimed films in the German Expressionist genre directed by Robert Wiene. Crawloween
Crawl through Downtown on Halloween night with ACME’s Crawloween, as four of its bars will throw individualâbut equally spooktacularâcostume parties, complete with discounted concocted cocktails. Fly to Sixth Street Tavern for their Basic Witches Brew, Library Bar for a Day of the Dead-themed libation, then don your 90’s flannel for a Smells Like Teen Spirit drink at Beelman’s Pub. End the night down the rabbit hole at Library Bar after sipping on their Alice in Wonderland-themed drink. Dia de Los Muertos at Olvera Street
This annual celebration at El Pueblo in downtown Los Angeles across from Union Station culminating with a 2-day festival includes Aztec dancers, street performers, mariachi bands, children’s activities and more.
