CHAYA Downtown’s Perfect Summer Glow

Get ready to get the perfect summer glow while drinking, dining and basking at CHAYA Downtown’s Summer Festival 2018 all month long, where Summer in Downtown L.A. never felt and tasted so good!

To kick-off the celebration, come relax and bask in the lantern-covered Japanese Beer Garden located on the CHAYA Downtown patio while sipping and savoring rare Japanese Whisky and a special cold Shiso Sapporo. For those that want to cool down and indulge, CHAYA Downtown will also be preparing three refreshing and delicious Handcrafted Mojitos in three thirst-quenching flavors: Strawberry, Passionfruit and Cucumber ($8 each).

For those craving some delectable summer bites, CHAYA Downtown Corporate Executive Chef Yukou Kajino and Chef de Cuisine Oscar Cuaya are firing up the Yakitori Grill and serving their Yakitori Skewers, including the Chicken and Spring Onion served with house-made tartar ($4); Beef Tongue with shishito and salsa verde ($5); Tandoori Spiced Shrimp with spicy aioli ($4), and Tomato & Summer Squash with raita sauce ($4). The Chefs will also be grilling up succulent Grilled Lobster Tails ($12 each) and offering a variety of summer snacks like the Elote Loco, comprised of grilled corn, aioli, tajin and cotija cheese ($7). Guests can savor the Grilled Oysters with garlic butter and soy sauce for ($4 each), and then sweeten things up with the Grilled Yellow Peach accompanied with chili honey and vanilla ice cream ($9).

Enjoy the sounds of DJ Ces who will be spinning at CHAYA Downtown every Thursday all month long.
