Going Down?

1,000 Feet Above Downtown LA – Skyslide is one HELL of a RIDE!

skyslideWhen OUE Limited,  a diversified real estate owner, developer and operator dedicated to bringing new life to iconic buildings and communities across the globe, announced the arrival of OUE Skyspace LA’s all-glass slide: the Skyslide, one could almost hear the portion of Downtown afraid of heights take a frighting group gasp. The glass structure was airlifted via helicopter onto the 69th floor observation deck at the iconic US Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles just days before and will be opening on June 25, 2016.

OUE Skyspace LA will be California’s tallest open-air observation deck and the premiere destination for 360-degree views of Los Angeles. In addition to the Skyslide, the OUE Skyspace LA experience will include a variety of interactive visitor touch points on floors 2, 54, 69 and 70 of the US Bank Tower. Made entirely of clear glass, 1 ¼ inches thick, the Skyslide attraction is a first-of-its-kind outdoor glass slide affixed to the exterior of the US Bank Tower, extending 45 feet long, from floor 70 to floor 69. Not for the faint of heart.

“The Skyslide boasts a safe, thrilling experience unlike any other in the world,” said OUE’s Lucy Rumantir, President & Chief Executive Officer, The Americas.  “Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to transform their view of Los Angeles as they glide down, gazing at unparalleled views of the city. “
