Celebrity chef and culinary powerhouse Wolfgang Puck unveils a reimagined dining concept at his signature Chinese restaurant by Wolfgang Puck, located on the 24th floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles. Building upon the modern interpretation of traditional Chinese cuisine for which the venue is known, the newly evolved WP24 now offers a refined a la carte menu complemented by a subtle décor update and new serving attire, all the while featuring the same breathtaking views offered since its debut.

“Over the past few years, we have seen a big shift in the way people are dining,” says chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck. “Fine dining is no longer determined by a white linen on the table, but by the quality of the entire dining experience, beginning to end. We want our guests to enjoy WP24 however they choose, whether that’s a family-style dinner, a quick meal before a game or a full tasting menu. Chef John and I are excited to share this new experience with you and hope you enjoy.”

With the transition to an a la carte menu, Chef de Cuisine Chef John Lechleidner also adds new items such as the XO Seafood Dumplings with sweet shrimp, Alaskan king crab, and Maine lobster; Soy Glazed Kurobuta Pork Shanks with golden chives, garlic, and Hong Kong noodles; and Maine Diver Scallops with mustard greens, radish, Chinese black bean and chili oil. The new menu will continue to feature signature dishes such as Wolfgang Puck’s renowned Whole Roasted Duckling. Additions from Executive Pastry Chef Megan Potthoff include farmer’s market-inspired desserts, such as the Passion Fruit SoufflĂ©, served tableside with coconut tapioca, passion fruit sauce, and a coconut pandan ice cream.

The beverage program will continue to offer an extensive wine list and a selection of sake, in addition to rotating specialty cocktails with an Asian twist, such as the Tokyo Time Traveler featuring Plymouth Gin, Poochi Sake, shiso leaves, and lemon; the Concubine’s Kiss with Absolut Pears Vodka, Domaine de Canton Ginger, yuzu, and pear; and the Dragon’s Fire with Patron Anejo Tequila, grapefruit, and jalapeno.
