Rush’s earliest visual influence came from the theater through his experience at Hollywood High School’s Performing Arts Magnet. The visual language conveyed in the theater through dramatic lighting and bold uses of color influence his aesthetic sensibilities to this day, as the world opens up in a great performance from which to draw inspiration.
Downtown Los Angeles based, Rush will travel anywhere in the world for the love of creating the best images possible.
Fashion campaigns, editorial assignments, entertainment portraiture, to just about the most uncanny of subjects, Rush never shies away from whatever challenges are presented to him. His ability to direct and covey creative narratives is what sets him apart from his peers. To further refine his visual sensibilities he graduated from Art Center College of Design with a BFA, where he received professional insights from industry leaders such as Jeff Sedlik and Ann Cutting, enriching his growth and his ability to perform as a professional in the field.
