Salon on Main Gets Fresh New Makeover

From the first day the doors opened at Salon on Main their vision has remained exactly the same, focusing four major areas: Contracting a talented and well educated staff, excellent customer service, becoming a focal point in DTLA and having a positive impact on the surrounding community as well as on the planet.

“I believe we have done just that. With in-house education as well as training from our product lines, our stylists are on top of their game. We have no problem sharing our experience and educational background with each other, which is unique in the industry”, says John Esparza, Salon on Main Owner.

To Esparza, the importance of customer service in his industry is of utmost importance. “We value each and every customer that walks through our doors, period.  When visiting a salon it should be about the experience, from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave. We are here for the client every step of the way and it shows.”

With a steady flow of customers and an ever growing online fan base, Salon on Main has maintained great ratings on yelp and a loyal cliental.

From the moment a client sits down in one of their chairs they are made to feel special. “Our clients are our walking billboards and how they look on an everyday basis is what the public will see, so I cannot stress to my stylists enough, the importance of educating them so when a client leaves our salon they leave with the tools necessary to maintain their look. That’s the difference between us and a chop shop.”

This month we launch a whole new look for the salon and a brand new naturally derived, eco friendly product line called “EVO”.  This product line is amazing and a great addition to our Davines line. Davines is an Italian, family owned business that is also eco friendly and made from the best of nature.

“I truly believe that everyone should be more conscious of what they put in and onto their body.” John mentions.

From recycling to eco friendly product lines, like Davines and EVO, to all natural Keratin treatments, and water and electricity conservation, Salon on Main definitely does it part to help the planet and reduce our carbon footprint.

For this months Art Walk Salon on Main will be showcasing the talents of artist Peter Perez, an amazing artist as well as interior painter. The Salon on Main staff will be putting on a runway hair show and we will be hosting the launch of a new music website called MyMusicILike.com.

“MyMusicILike.com is a music revolution! The site was developed to allow its members to create online publications called Myzine’s of the music they like and gain subscribers. In addition to their own online publication they can discover new music by subscribing to other publications or see what’s trending in the world of MyZine.” – Dominic Verdin

Salon on Main is also now partnered up with the Downtown Women’s Center. To reward the women that complete their “work force” program.

Salon On Main will be giving them a whole new look.“We just feel it completes the program by instilling confidence in the women who go through this extensive program.” Says Esparza.

Also, proud members of “Operation Smiles”, one of the most amazing organizations that completely changes lives, allows Salon on Main yet another opportunity to give back to the community.

What’s next for Salon on Main? Let’s just say they will be a positive creative force that will continue to grow and thrive, helping out as much as they can both locally and globally. Check out the website for updates, specials and information on upcoming events and classes. www.salononmainLA.com
